Sandlot Sports Camp Olentangy is a camp that has been running in the Olentangy area for 21 years. We are a camp that is run by certified teachers. We work with Kids from k-8th grade. We are more than just organized play. We structure games and challenges each day that help kids meet new people and make new friendships, as well as building character while staying active. We play games like capture the flag, space invaders, gladiator ball, sharks and minnows, YOSHI, 4-Corners, dodgeball, mouse trap and many others. We also take field trips each day to indoor athletic facilities, a gymnastics facility to use their equipment, pool, slip n slides, movie, and awards at the end of the week. This is a camp that sells out every year and you will not want to miss out. We added another week, so we still have spots open but will not last long.
Each day will also talk to the kids about sportsmanship, and what it means to be a good leader. By the end of the week your kids will have had a blast and not want to leave, but also know the difference between being a boss and a true leader. They will know how to compete the right way, and also be able to sit back for a week and just be a kid again. There is so much pressure on kids and mental health is so real. This is a camp that you can let your kids come to and know they are truly enjoying just being a kid!
