Summer camp offers what children and teens need in this anxious generation: time outside in nature, experience in the real world, opportunities to bond with others through shared adventures, free play, face-to-face relationship building with peers and mentors, opportunities to take responsibility for themselves and the community, time away from screens, and occasions to be creative and solve problems as a team.

Activities at the sites include: swimming, hiking, campfire cooking, canoeing, pottery, animals, kayaking, sailing, fishing, Bible study, archery, crafts, music, high ropes, rock climbing, art, sports, games, pontoon boat rides, wagon rides, Giant Swing, tree houses, and more! East Ohio Camps & Retreat Ministries at Aldersgate, Asbury and Wanake offer programs and facilities year-round. There are opportunities for children, youth, teens, adults, and families. In addition, each site provides accommodations year-round for groups, family reunions, retreats, trainings, and events – from small, intimate settings to large group gatherings.
