The Columbus GospelFest is proud to announce the 35th Annual Family Oriented Community Event: Columbus GospelFest! This free exciting community program will be held at Genoa Park located at 303 West Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio on July 27, 2019 at 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Columbus GospelFest, the largest of its kind in central Ohio, has for over 20 years included the special needs community and has provided a platform to showcase their artistic ability. The Street Fair offers local artists and merchants opportunity to promote and sell artworks. The CareSource Wellness Expo includes diverse health and wellness resources for all ages. The Children's Edu-Fun Fest, in partnership with COSI and KidsLinked, allows children to participate in fun outdoor educational/recreational activities.
The main stage showcases a diverse range of positive contemporary and traditional christian, eclectic, rock, jazz, hip-hop, and other forms of artistic expression in music, dance, and spoken-word by local and national artists.
The impact of CGF in the Columbus, Ohio community ranges from artist exposure to issues facing the community and the promotion of healthy living for all people.
This event continues to will showcase some of the finest local, regional, and national artists in many genres, while expressing the importance of education, the benefits of health/wellness and other issues in the community. There will also be city officials and local media personalities in attendance as well.
